Land of Avatar- personal Mattepainting CINEMA 4D, Photoshop, ZBrush August 2009
Watching the Trailer "Avatar" from James Cameron, inspired me to create my own version of the Land, his story plays in.
It is also a little zbrush test because the floating hills are made with zbrush.
The rendering was done in c4d.
Postwork was done in Photoshop.
A bigger version will be linked later.
The Original size 2400x960 pixels.
Workingtime was something around 10h.
The Forrest is made with textures taken from CGtextures.
Some clouds are made with JavierZhX cloud brushes, which can be found here...
